AWS Integration: Understanding Account_ID and External_ID Fields

Setting up your AWS integration with Veza requires correctly configuring two key fields: Account_ID and External_ID. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you complete the process smoothly.

Account_ID Field

The Account_ID field consists of two values:

1. Your AWS Account_ID

   • This is your AWS account's unique identifier.
   • Simply copy your AWS Account_ID and paste it into the corresponding field on the Veza AWS integration page.

2. Veza Principal Account_ID

   • This value will be automatically populated once you've completed the External_ID field on the AWS integration page.
   • Look for the populated Veza Principal Account_ID at the top of the AWS integration setup screen.

The External_ID field can be any randomly generated value.
