Introduction

Access monitoring in Veza provides visibility into user activities and access patterns across AWS resources. It helps track who accessed what resources and when, enabling better security oversight and compliance monitoring.

Prerequisites

• Active AWS integration in Veza
• Administrator access to Veza platform
• Valid AWS credentials with appropriate permissions

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Navigate to Integrations

• Open the Veza platform
• Go to the Integrations section
• Locate your AWS integration

Step 2: Check Current Audit Log Status

• Find your AWS integration in the list
• Click the three dots menu on the right side
• Look for "Enable Audit Logs" option
• If visible, audit logs are currently disabled

Step 3: Enable Audit Logs

• Click "Enable Audit Logs" from the menu
• Confirm the action if prompted
• Wait for the configuration to complete

Step 4: Verify Configuration

• Return to the AWS integration details
• Check the activity monitoring status
• Confirm that audit logs are now enabled
